We made our annual visit back home in June, and we had a lot of lost time for which to make up. Our littlest cousin Libby was just 3 months when we saw her last and now had gotten so big. The kids loved staying at Gammy & Papa's house with their cousins. It was nonstop entertainment for us all. I think all of the adults were slightly exhausted by the time we left, but we wouldn't trade it for the world. Our time is always short and sweet and leaves us excited about seeing our cousins again.

After Georgia, we went to South Carolina for our annual week at Golf Camp and to see Mimi, Pap Pap, Aunt Jenn and our cousins. This is Kendall's 3rd year and Jace's 2nd at the camp. They had a ton of fun and especially loved being with their cousins. Here they are on their 1st day ready to go! (Yes, I wrote Golf camp and below they are posing with tennis rackets....haha! They get a little of it all but the main focus seems to be golf.)

Love how cute they look in their hats!

Thank you Mimi and Pap for an awesome week at Golf Camp with our cousins!

We had our 1st annual Hoffner Kickball tournament....girls vs. boys. Ok, the boys did win, but the girls will come back next year with a vengeance.
Jimmy and I also took a day trip to Savannah. We can't possibly be that close to "our" city and not go for a visit. We spent the day walking around downtown and ate lunch at the Olde Pink House which is the oldest mansion in Savannah. The food was tremendous and included your Southern staples.....the pimento cheese straws they bring to your table instead of bread were ridiculous. We stopped by River Street Sweets and got some pralines which is always a reminder of our wedding since we gave those to our guests as favors. And then, of course, we got our picture made at the lightpole where we met. Or, as I like to say, the day we met Jimmy became the luckiest guy alive. :-)
I hope 50 years from now we still go back to Savannah and get our picture taken by the lightpole.
And I captured this sweet picture of my lovebugs while we were on our trip. Proof that they really do love each other..... so sweet!
