Christmas 2013

Merry Christmas to our family and friends!!! We celebrated here in Colorado, just the 4 of us. Santa visited and the kids were ecstatic with the gifts they received from him. They must have done something right. :-)

Thanksgiving Adventures

It was just the 4 of us for Thanksgiving this year, so we decided to take the kids to Colorado Springs for some adventure. We went to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, and the Emergency room. Yes, the ER w/ Jace after he threw himself out of the bed while sleeping resulting in a gash in the back of his head. It's always an adventure w/ us! Oh, and he was fine!

We drove up Pike's Peak. WOW!! Absolutely breathtaking once you get up there, but the ride along that curvy mountain rode makes your stomach turn.

Family Pictures- City Park Denver

Denver is typically sunny in November, but the day we decided to get these pictures taken was possibly the coldest, windiest day EVER. We managed to survive thanks to frequent hand warming breaks and lots of jumping around.
Setting was in City Park near the zoo in Downtown Denver. There's usually a terrific view of downtown but unfortunately, we just got a small glimpse that day b/c of the fog. Thanks to our photographer, Audrey Uhlig w/ Lady Uhlig Photography.
