Piggies and Paws

I went to a Piggies and Paws party with my mom's group. You pick the design you want to create from your children's hands or feet. Then, after their hands or feet are stamped on the paper, the Piggies and Paws artist takes it home to decorate. I'm so happy with how it turned out!

And yet another spaghetti pic of Jace Man. He had 2 huge servings of it for lunch today!!!

Mr. Spaghetti Man and "Cause it has orange on it"

"Well Mom you fed it to me, it was just my job to make a mess!" Jace LOVES spaghetti!! Watching a little Max and Ruby

Hilarious! She obviously dressed herself. Listen to this rationale as to why she would wear it. I should have quit asking "Why does it match?" b/c she already had her mind made up that it did.

Kendall the Swimmer

Check her out! We were so proud of her and how much she was loving the water. On Monday, she spent about 4 hours in the pool. Pap Pap and Daddy cheering her on.
Pap Pap, Mimi, and Kendall

Look at her go!

Our trip back to GA

Gammy and Jace
This is what happens when you try to get a pic of a 10 month old, 15 month old and a 2 year old. I actually love this pic! It's so them!

Cutie little man Nate

My brother, Brad, Kim, me, Jimmy, cousins Maureen and Patrick, and cousins Chris and Emily.... I hate that we are all so far away from each other because we always have a blast when we are together.
Papa and Jace

This is how I found the 2 of them....this was my toy from when I was a toddler.

I haven't updated for awhile and for good reason. I've literally been running around nonstop ever since we arrived at my parents' house last week. We had my cousins Chris and Emily's baby shower on Saturday and for only getting here the day before, it actually went off without a hitch. It's been a wonderful visit with them along with Patrick and Maureen, Aunt Suzanne, Uncle Mac, Brad, Kim, and Nate. Kendall just can't get enough of Cousin Nate. And trust me, Jace is right there in the mix as well. I'll be sad to leave tomorrow for sure but happy to see Jimmy!

Mesquite Rodeo

On Friday night, we went to the rodeo. Texas does it right!! We had a blast and it was quite an experience.

This was just as entertaining as the actual show. I was having trouble focusing on the show with this lady sitting directly in front of me.
Jimmy's souvenir from the rodeo

This is exactly what I had in mind.... We are going to wait a few weeks before we mount them to make sure we don't want to get a bigger set.

Dallas Children's Museum

This place was awesome!! On Friday, we went with our honeymoon friends to the museum. It was right up Kendall's alley, but Jace definitely kept himself entertained with plenty to do. Look at little man driving the firetruck! He loved it!

In the "farm" room, the kids milked a cow. too funny!

Can you see this in his future??!!

Kendall loved this.....exploring how a hot air balloon takes off.

A visit from our honeymoon friends

This past week, the Anderson, Guarda, and Hoffner clans reunited in Dallas for our 5th vacation since meeting on our honeymoon in St. Lucia. Now we have 6 kids between us ages 2 and under. It was a houseful for sure but the kids got along like best pals and played for hours. (Jace included ;~) We got out to see a lot of sights around Dallas that we hadn't seen before, so even though we were at our house, it was definitely full of new adventures. me and the kids, Camryn, Amber, Kennady, Isabella, Karen, and Nico-- All the kids were running around and didn't want to stop so we could take this pic.
Sweetie Kennady and Kendall were instant friends!

Big blue eyed Isabella and cutie pie Nico (twins) loved the ducks at Watters Creek.

Where's Jace? Ok, so maybe only 5 can fit in our tiny plastic pool. :~)

Great day but tough day....

Does that even make sense? Well probably not to you but it certainly does to me. I found out today that Bailee, my 12 year four legged companion, has cancer. Jimmy and I noticed him limping on his front foot the past couple days. After looking at his foot, I noticed a huge lump. I took him to 2 vets (the 1st one I couldn't stand to be quite honest). After the 2nd vet extracted some fluid from his foot and sent it to pathology, it was discovered it was cancer. He will have surgery next week to remove the tumor. The sooner the better b/c it is painful. Then, the tumor will be sent once again to a pathologist who will let us know if it has mastisized. I am just wanting to think positively that is hasn't and this surgery will take care of it.

Where the great day comes in is our honeymoon friends came in town today! We've had an awesome day of sharing stories, laughing, and watching all 6 of our kids play. Yes, Jace even got in on the action. What is even harder to believe is that this is our 5th vacation together: St. Lucia, Asheville, NC, Cape Cod, Lake Geneva and Dallas. And, WOW, how things have changed!! I'll update with pictures later.
