Daddy Daughter Dance

Kendall and Daddy went to their 1st Daddy Daughter Dance at her elementary school.  I can't tell you who was more excited, but I can tell you what an incredibly precious memory this will be!  Jimmy took her dress shopping (without me!) and I must say, together, they picked out a beautiful dress that Jimmy said covered enough of her shoulders (ha ha!!).  She marked off the days on her calendar until the date arrived, and she absolutely was beaming when he handed her the flowers saying, "I was hoping your would buy me flowers."

My beautiful girl is growing up so fast!

Jace had to get in on all of the fun, of course.  In fact, he wanted a flower in a vase for his room too. ha!

Christmas 2012

Our 1st Christmas in Colorado came a quick 3 weeks after our move!  We managed to pull it all together with the help of Mimi coming out for the move and helping to get the house in order and Christmas decorations put up in time.  Minus my tree ornaments missing,  we had a wonderful WHITE Christmas!  Gammy and Papa arrived on Christmas eve; the same day I was fighting the stomach bug.  Gammy stepped right in and prepared our entire Christmas dinner since it was obvious no one wanted me to be near the food.  I must say, the food is always better anyway with my Mom's touch.

Once we all were healthy (yes, all 4 of us got the stomach bug), we got out for a little sightseeing.  Here we are at the Coors Brewery tour in Golden.  I must say, it was the BEST beer I have ever had!
Christmas in our new house!  Don't look closely at my tree ;-)

 Happy Kids!

Where did I leave off?

Since my last post, soooooo much has happened!   Well, we moved to Colorado.....I guess that is considered "sooooooo much".  ;-)  (I realize how delayed I am in this posting considering that we have already lived here 2+ months.)
We absolutely love it here!  300 days of sunshine + beautiful mountain views = memories that I know will last us a lifetime!  Jimmy is loving his new role,  I am meeting new friends, and the kids are happy & adjusting to their new schools so absolutely no complaints on our end.   I feel deeply blessed and while I don't know how long this Colorado adventure will last,  I am content in knowing it presents such amazing opportunities for my family.
