And back to the beginning....1 day old
In this picture, Jace is about 5 weeks old and had just started smiling.....

Jace turns 1 today, and I can't believe how fast this year of his life has gone. The night before he was born, I remember sitting in the kitchen with my family (Jimmy, Kendall, Gammy, Papa, Mimi, and Pap Pap) guessing Jace's weight and length and trying to envision whom he would look like. Then, our 6 lb. 10 oz., 19 inch mini Jimmy was born and since that day, life has taken us on an awesome journey as a family of 4.
He has learned so much in his first year, but the thing about Jace that sticks out the most is his smile. He has this amazing smile that radiates through his eyes and his whole face beams. My hope for him is that as he grows, he continues to smile that same awesome smile and be the happy little guy that absolutely lights up our lives.

That is awesome; it made me smile. I can see you saying that as your face lights up with a smile. Those younger babies have that effect on us Mama's. I hope to get to meet him one day. Glad y'all are well!
