Kendall's Kindergarten Graduation

1st day of Kindergarten in St. Louis
Headed to the bus stop for the 1st time and checking out my new seat in my classroom

Moving 1/2 way through the year wasn't easy but meeting such a great group of friends was a plus.  Kendall adjusted so well to her new school, teacher and friends.  As her mom, I think I worried more than she did.   She has done so well at her new school!
Sweet group of friends

Family Pics Summer 2013

Not sure we could've found a more beautiful setting for our family pictures than Roxborough State Park in South Denver.  The Red Rocks, the tall green grasses made for some awesome shots.  Good thing we got the shots we did because we didn't realize that rattlesnakes frequent the park.  YIKES!!!  I was freaked out for a few days following the shoot to be honest, thinking we were sitting and even laying in grass where the rattlesnakes are.  The park ranger made it clear to get out of the grass.....a good 2 hours after we had been taking pictures there.  Well, everyone was safe and the pictures took my breath away.  Cherished memories of our time in Colorado.  BUT....we won't ever be back to take more pictures there.

The Red Rocks in the park......amazing sight

Red Rocks

I can cross this off the bucket list.  It's one of those places I'd seen on TV and thought WOW!  I'd love to be able to see that in person one day.  Well, who knew that we'd live 30 miles away from it.  It truly is as spectacular as it's made out to be w/ the views & structures surrounding the ampitheater.  Our first concert was Zac Brown and then we recently went to see Darius Rucker.  Showing my love for my Southern bands :-)

In the distance is downtown Denver.

The rainbow is literally right over downtown.  See what I mean when I wrote amazing views.

My J's

Possibly my favorite picture EVER of twin J's!  I love you both with all my heart.

 Mother's Day at Jace's Pre-K.....
This was such a special day for me and Jace.  He had prepared so many awesome gifts for me including handmade popsicle stick flowers, a picture frame with sequins, and chocolate covered strawberries.  Yes, he actually dipped them with his teacher before we got there.  But the best surprise was the picture he drew for me of a pool with a caption that read, "What do you like to do with Mom?"  Jace responded with, "We go to swim in the pool a lot at the hotel."  Haha! You know, we are at hotel pools quite often. ;-)

It was so incredibly sweet to see how excited he was to show me my surprises.  And he even wrote out facts about me....well, partially facts like my favorite color being green.  Read the rest in the picture below.  Funny stuff!  I love you Jace man!

Girls' trip to Texas for Cathy's "Almost 40th" Birthday! ;-)

Had an awesome visit with my Texas girls for my best friend, Cathy's birthday.  She turned 39.  She won't like me telling you that, but I mean, damn, does she look like she's about to be 40?? We are counting down the months until her 40th because we've got some fun birthday plans in the mix.

I miss these sweet girls.....irreplaceable friendships!!

Colorado National Golf Club

We recently joined a golf club.....because those of you that know me, know that I play golf all the time.  LOL!!  Jimmy sure is loving it and has been bringing the kids up once a week for some lessons.  It's neat to see how they are progressing but more importantly, I love that this is their special bonding time with Daddy.  I enjoy going up there to watch them practice, and then we love to sit out on the patio to have dinner w/ an incredible view of those Rocky Mountains.
