Our Anniversary Trip to Las Vegas!

We had the best weekend in Las Vegas for our 7th anniversary!  Our friends, Cathy and Curt, from Dallas joined us.  The cool part about all of us going together, besides the fact we have an absolute blast together, is that they celebrate our EXACT same anniversary....same year too!

(A huge thanks to Gammy and Papa for coming out to watch the kids, so we could enjoy our vacation!)

Mandalay Bay Resort.....the beach/pool area...

Happy 7th anniversary to a man I am incredibly proud to call my husband.  I love you Jimmy!  Here we are about to enjoy our anniversary dinner.

Our anniversary dinner at MIX which is located on the 64th floor of THEhotel.  Amazing views with even better company!

Caesar's Palace....the shopping was ridiculous!

Their preschool hosted an art show one evening, showcasing 4 pieces of the students' artwork.  I was such a proud Mommy.  And talk about, proud..... Kendall and Jace loved being showing off their masterpieces.

Kendall's Soccer

Our girl got a little spice in her this soccer season.  We are really proud of her.  She played with a couple kids from her Pre-K class, so she loved playing!

SAVANNAH!!!!!

Jimmy and I got the chance to go to Savannah while we were visiting Mimi and Pap Pap in South Carolina.  Thank goodness they live so close because we absolutely love going back.  We always visit the church where we got married, and then take a walk along Riverstreet, stopping at the infamous light pole where I spotted my handsome man wearing that Gap jean jacket.  Those who know our story understand the importance of him wearing the jean jacket....ha ha!  ;-)  Here's a little trip down memory lane....

Our church where we were married April 2, 2005 in Savannah, GA.  The luckiest day of Jimmy's life!  (I  always joke with him about that, but we both know it's not a joke.)  LOL :-)

The Light Pole on Riverstreet where we met for the VERY 1st time!

Visits with our Cousins

I looked at my last post and realized it has been 2 months since I posted.  :(  I am hoping to get caught up this week on my blog.

We got to spend our Spring Break in Georgia at Gammy & Papa's house and then Easter Break in South Carolina at Mimi & Pap Pap's house.  The kids had so much fun with their cousins and while our time is always short, there is never a shortage of fun!  The pics are a little out of order....

St. Louis Zoo with the Anderson's

Our honeymoon friends, Amber and Chad, came to St. Louis for a visit. They have 3 kids, 2 of which are very close in age to Kendall and Jace. The kids absolutely hit it off and had so much fun having a slumber party. The weather was fabulous on Saturday, so we spent the day at the St. Louis Zoo.

The kids loved the train ride around the zoo.

Jace Man

Poor buddy wiped out in Mommy and Daddy's bathroom, hitting his eyebrow on this "planter" beside our tub. I say planter because I don't know what the crazy contraption is or why it is even in a bathroom.
Talk about a tough little dude....he told the doctor he was a pirate. All glued up and ready to roll!He has since done absolutely great and never complained about it one time. Hopefully, it won't leave a scar but if it does, I'm sure he will tell you it's because he is a pirate. Love him!

Random Pics

It's been over a month since I have updated the blog so I pulled a few of my favorite pics to post for you.
Miss Kendall who now says, "I'm 5 1/2." If you say she is 5, chances are you will be corrected.
My favorite people.....This "pile on" Daddy typically Monday-Friday whenever Daddy gets home from work. The kids sure are excited to see him, and I enjoy the little break. LOL ;-)
Jace took his preschool assessment and this is his drawing of a person. I just love the hair! Also, notice his "J" at the bottom. He did so well on the assessment and got a stellar report from the teacher.
The boys....Charlie, our lap dog, and his main man....well besides Jimmy.
I love this pic! It cracks me up how Charlie looks like a mammoth compared to the kids. I guess that is because he actually is. ;-)

Found this today....

My all-time FAVORITE video of Jace!!! This was taken about 9 months ago, and I can notice a distinct difference in his voice.....from baby, high pitched voice to now sounding like a big boy.
