Kendall and I met Mimi, Aunt Jenn, and Kenzie in NYC for a girls' only ;-) weekend. It was such a fun trip, topped off by a visit to American Girl and Kendall's 1st American Girl doll. (Thank you Mimi and Pap Pap!!! She absolutely loves her doll.) On Friday, we ate at Carmine's Italian Restaurant in Manhattan. Talk about sinful...4 courses of pure food pleasure!! We also saw Mary Poppins on Broadway, followed by a trip Serendipity. We waited an hour and 40 minutes for a frozen hot chocolate. Was it worth....YES!!
Thanks Mimi, Aunt Jenn, and Kenz for a fun weekend!!!

Video of Kendall's Recital

I have been trying for over an hour now to upload this video and so far, nothing! It's 11:00 at night, so I'm calling it quits and will try again tomorrow.

Kendall's 1st Dance Recital

We are so incredibly proud of our little dancer. She did an amazing job at her very
1st recital. Gammy was able to come out for the big day. Her class tap danced to "Lollipop" and it seriously was one of the cutest things I have witnessed....EVER!

Fishing adventure on Papa's Boat

How much fun did we have!!! Papa took the kids fishing on his boat and while Kendall's patience ran a bit thin, we all had a blast! She thought she would throw the line out and hook a fish right away....not so much! No fish were caught, but the experience made it all worth it. I think the kids especially loved Papa driving the boat fast around the lake. Their smiles were priceless!

COUSINS!

We were in GA over Memorial Day and had a wonderful visit with Nate and Wesley. The kids played so well together and Wesley even got in on the mix. I wish we had more time to spend with them because the kids really had so much fun!

Grant's Farm

My mom's group had a playdate at Grant's Farm. Below is a description I copied and pasted from their website:
The 281-acre ancestral home of the Busch family, located just south of the city of St. Louis is home to more than 900 animals representing more than 100 different species. Grant's Farm, operated by Anheuser-Busch, Inc., has been a St. Louis tradition for over five decades.

Charlie Blue

Introducing the newest member to Team Hoffner....Charlie Blue, a 7 month old black lab. He certainly is a sweet boy and very gentle with the kids. He is going to be a big boy, already weighing 50 lbs.
