Colorado Winter 2013 Pictures

Driving west on I-70 into the mountains.....prettiest drive!

My 1st attempt at skiing...EVER.... in Steamboat Springs, CO (some people look cute in ski gear...I look like a dork!)
 Overlooking the town of Steamboat

Where did I leave off?

Since my last post, soooooo much has happened!   Well, we moved to Colorado.....I guess that is considered "sooooooo much".  ;-)  (I realize how delayed I am in this posting considering that we have already lived here 2+ months.)
We absolutely love it here!  300 days of sunshine + beautiful mountain views = memories that I know will last us a lifetime!  Jimmy is loving his new role,  I am meeting new friends, and the kids are happy & adjusting to their new schools so absolutely no complaints on our end.   I feel deeply blessed and while I don't know how long this Colorado adventure will last,  I am content in knowing it presents such amazing opportunities for my family.

Breathtaking sights....what a way to spend the day!

Jace- St. John's Preschool

Is this a handsome little guy or what?!  Here is Jace's 4 year old preschool pic along with his class pic.  Not sure it gets any cuter than this!

Kendall Assembly

Kendall wrote a story and it was chosen to be published in the school wide book called "Gold."  She was 1 of 2 Kindergartners who were chosen to have their stories published.  We are so incredibly proud of her and what a confidence boost for her to be chosen to read it in front of her entire school at the Monday Morning assembly.
Keep up the outstanding work Kendall!  You are amazing!

Pumpkin Farm Fall 2012, St. Louis

Our last Fall in St. Louis was topped off with a wonderful day spent at the Pumpkin Farm.  Kids  picked a pumpkin and enjoyed pony and barrel rides.  Fun times had by all!

A few random pics.....

Jimmy and I in Vail, CO. Amazing!  Can't wait to be close enough to visit regularly.

 My mini me.....Just being silly

Welcome home Daddy!!!  Kids welcome poster and balloon.

Just a pic of us I love....an oldie....from our 7 year anniversary trip to Vegas.

Birthday Party Fun!

Birthday party fun at Hi NRG Gymnastics!
We invited lots of our school friends and had a blast doing gymnastics and eating cake & pizza.  Jace chose a Hot Wheels cake and Kendall chose Tinkerbell.  Yum!
6 year old Princess Kendall for the day
Below:  The whole crew at the Gymnastics party!  Getting them all to stop to take a pic....um, slightly challenging.
 My favorite little people :-)

Jace and his preschool buddies....the little guy at the end really did have fun! ;-)

 Our Happy Birthday Medals!

Happy Birthday to my babes!

Look at my beautiful 6 year old girl!  I am so proud of my Carolina girl.  My lover of all things purple & pink, American Girl, Mac-n-Cheese, dress up clothes, french braids, polka dots, Fancy Nancy, earrings, the School Bus (seriously!),  riding bikes, and anything crafty.  Kendall, your sweet spirit, fierce determination, full face smile & nurturing soul make me the proudest Mom around.
And now to my handsome little dude.....simply put, life would be boring without you.  In your 4 years,  Jace Man, you've made me laugh out loud more than I thought possible.  Your wit, your spunk, your mannerisms might just make you the coolest little 4 year old around.  My little Texan.....You make my days sweeter, my worries greater, & my proudest moments grow by leaps and bounds.
As we say, "I love you more than a million bucks!"  Or they may top me and say, "a billion."
